Mr. Brent Beckley made a name for himself while attending the University of Montana. Beckley’s fraternity, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, decided to give him the honor of holding the title of Man of the Year.

At the university, Beckley was a ten-time recipient of the D.J. Schultz Scholarship Award, an eight-time recipient of the Kissler Scholarship Award as well as winner of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon’s fraternity service and academics scholarship.

The University of Montana, located in the city of Missoula, is situated in scenic western Montana. Beckley was a student at the university from September of 1999 to May of 2002. Mr. Brent Beckley studied financial management and received his bachelor’s of arts degree in May of 2002.

Brent Beckley attended weeklong leadership programs in order to improve the college experience for undergrads, including his fraternity brothers, at the University of Montana. The Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity YMCA Volunteer Live It! Leadership Program in Denver, Colo., consisted of goal-setting programs, strategic planning workshops and creating mission statements.

After he graduated from the University of Montana, Beckley moved to Canada, and he now lives in Toronto, Ontario.

From September of 2005 to April of 2006, Mr. Beckley donated his time to the Salvation Army Food Kitchen, located in Vancouver, British Colombia. Brent volunteered at the food kitchen every weekend during that time period.

Brent also spent time as a volunteer soccer coach at the Young Men’s Christian Association Youth Soccer program. Brent Beckley coached both boys’ and girls’ teams for nearly one year. Brent D. Beckley ensured that the young athletes had a fun and positive experience while enrolled in the program.

For Brent Beckley, a quote by inventor Benjamin Franklin holds words to live by: “Dost thou love life? Then do not squander time, for that’s the stuff life is made of.”
